Hi all,
Sorry for the late notice, but Christine and I won't be able to make it. We have only arrived on Tuesday and have some things to sort out over the weekend, not to mention fighting a massive jetlag.
Some thoughts, though:
1) Awning: I would skip the plan to buy an awning for the moment, because a) I saw that the SBS bank has a tent thing we could eventually borrow for bigger events and it looks ok-ish for our purposes b) I would rather see us to invest some of the money to buy some of Boyds stuff, as otherwise it will be lost for us forever c) And we need to get more members if we want the group going after Boyd and Yvonne have left and should rather look to spend money for that.
2) Getting new members should be our main aim for the next year, without Yvonne leading the singer group and Boyd offering fighting we have lost two major activities.
3) The indian guy won't be available for the next Faire, if we still want to do it one way or the other. I am still keen.
4) On the marchfest were some folks who mentioned an event in winter and that they were keen to come to our faire. Anyone has their contacts?
