camp oven

Hi All

Just to let you know we have taken the liberty of buying one of the
Dutch ovens Eryl saw at Mitre 10. There was only one left, so we
nabbed it. We got the biggest size - about 10 litres, which will
easily feed our group. It can be used over the fire or in the embers
as an oven (bread comes to mind, or whatever) It was $100.00, so
we'll bring the receipt to the next meeting Markus. I think it was
the best deal available in Nelson, and much cheaper than the Kerikeri
pots, although it doesn't look as good. We'll cure it etc before the camp.

Have you had many responses from people wanting to come to the camp Markus?

Hello

Good job with the oven. I think they were the best option for us under the circumstances. As you can see I'm emailing from the group email, where unfortunately no people have sent a response to our invite to. The only people I'm aware of are two young guys from Christchurch.

Have we contacted our guests from the last time in person? Can we contact the young men that helped us the last time?
