Farewell Gathering

Since the lovely Yvonne & Boyd will be departing NZ (sniff) we thought we'd have a farewell gathering of Nelson Mediaeval.
 
Saturday 5th May is the day.
 
Moutere Inn is the pub.
 
Alli & Roger's in Upper Moutere is the place for pot luck nibbles later (to soak up some of the ale).  We thought we'd go for a drink in the mid afternoon and then wander back to ours. 
 
All are welcome.  Do the fantastic NZ bring-a-plate-of-food-to-share thing. 
 
There's space to camp if people would like to stay over. 
 
Nearer the day we can comfirm what time.

Do tomorrow's archaeologists a big favor: Always carry some change in your pocket. That way if you happen to be buried alive by an earthquake, any future researchers who unearth your bones from the quake debris can easily approximate the year of the quake.

yes definitely,  I was actually thinking of making some artworks along those lines, crossing boundaries etc.  What time is mid-afternoon btw?

Hi Folks

Mid afternoon depends on how much time you'd like to spend in the pub.  The folks who just want to join us afterwards at our house (1368 Moutere Highway) will be coming round at 5pm; so arrive at the pub the requisite number of hours drinking you'd like to do prior.  

I've just read through the above sentences again and it does make sense if you wade through it.
