Yes, I remember this being the case. In the context of our chapter and FLN related work we are really only interested in MZ-61, though if we decide to push forward with this other (arguably more interesting) work involving other chapters with footprints in the CAWS and beyond that to include LanDAT phenology metrics for the Eastern US, then the BpS will need to expand accordingly. I'm hoping we can devise some sampling or stratification scheme that makes sense and simplifies the effort without substantially compromising the value. I'm guessing that generally speaking the BpS with larger footprints tend also to be ones you have more confidence in the VDDT models for?
I'm not able to find where I can download the BpS data underlying the spreadsheet you sent. So, is it possible to extract the GIS data for MZ-61 etc, so I can intersect that with ownership information? I could swear I've worked with some of those data sets before, but have no residual evidence.
