Hello! My name is David Kolodziejski, and I am incredibly excited to be joining the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. My passion lies with understanding the relationships between human beings and the environment and how those relationships impacts our day to day lives.
I am a Chicago native who, in 2017, graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, a minor in mathematics, and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems. I have traveled over 2,000 miles throughout the Great Plains chasing storms and have presented climate research at the American Association of Geographers conference in Boston.
During my spare time, I enjoy running, going to concerts, completing jigsaw puzzles, and playing video games. I have won a Mario Kart tournament and enjoy playing games, such as Super Smash Brothers, with my family and friends.
I am extremely gratefully for this opportunity, and I am looking forward to what the future holds!
