Una versin mas de wifislax, cada vez se prolongan mas en el tiempo , esta vez hace casi un ao desde wifislax-3.3 , pero tampoco haba necesidad de sacar nada antes por que no hay grandes novedades que lo justificaran.
XFCE , tiene la particularidad de que si arrancamos desde un pincho usb , no podremos acceder a el directamente desde el panel lateral de thunar , aunque aparece , al estar el live montado desde all , tiene problemas para acceder , por lo que deberis ir a /mnt/livemedia para tener acceso al pincho usb y poder escribir archivos si se desea guardar algo en el , kde/plasma no tiene ese problema y desconozco realmente por que thunar no puede acceder.

Los mdulos son ficheros comprimidos , como un rar o un zip .. que al copiarlos en la carpeta modules el sistema los identifica y descomprime durante el arranque del live , ampliando asi sus posibilidades y cubriendo las necesidades de quien quiera usar software extra.

Hi, i have been following the show for more than four years and have pretty much gone though all the esisodes. I Love it. I have bumped into a small yet irritating problem and as we all know google has the answer to everything. I tried googling, I didn't find any specific answer. I have tried using WIFIslax and have gone through the SLAX a little bit. THE PROBLEM is the installed language SPANISH. I don't speak or understand spanish and tried different ways to solve it.
As many you know the WIFIslax version 4.2 Final is out. All the updates are lovely except one... theres no option to boot it in english. So I tried something. I copied the "009-english.xzm" from the WIFIslax 4.1 ISO and put it in the base folder... My trick did work out. I got English menu and interface, but certain menus and programs has not changed. I am not concerned with the menu items but airoscript-ng and other Wifi auditing program is still speaking spanish.
Check to see if there is a quick fix, like an apt-get install language pack or something like that for the distro. If not, switch to a different distro, or build from source(good luck with that). You could also try checking the pre-set repos, and adding in ones form english sites, uninstall a program, then reinstall it from one of the english repos, but not sure of there is also something you would have to do to prepare kernel sources and such, if much of it is hard coded to Spanish.
I REMEMBER THIS! , i am pretty sure i remember what distro you'r talking about , i came across it last year at some point while living with my friends , i had no internet and used what i could to gain access to the internet " to my router downstairs of which i forgot my password for :) " , this was one of the CD's i had burried in my bag prior to moving in , personally , id just recommend backtrack now, i only stumbled onto backtrack when r4 was out , and got oober hyped up for r5 this year , I was not dissapointed :) , it does everything + more, i wish someone could of pointed me towards it at the time :) , what is it you want to use it for? anything specifically?

choose one and i have handshake
but i have problem (pre-reading blacklist/whitelist)
the fake network dont work
what is the slove ???
i boot on wifislax which i have already install it on usb flash
i choose wifislax -> wpa -> lenset (evil twin attack )
i choose the network i want to hack it
and i get handshake
the right process is (the fake network start to run and the victim will try to put the password of his network)
but i have (pre-reading blacklist/whitelist) in the right box which is in red color
i try the process on another laptop its work correctly where the message (pre-reading blacklist/whitelist) appear but everything work
the fake network and i have hacked it

I have installed wifi slax OS from a usb on a partition along side with windows 10 and the installation process install also grub2 when finished I reboot and grub2 show only windows 10 loader.So, how I can list all available OS to boot?

I am having the same issue. I spent a few hours yesterday trying to figure this out but I am still pretty new to Linux so have not had any luck yet. If I figure things out or find a more detailed guide I will share.
Has anyone been able to get this to work with kali? I moved the new driver over to /lib/firmware and disabled the default all fine. I am able to see networks only after turning wifi off and back on in the setting and cannot connect to any. Any thougths?

Thanks! With the dnf provides command I could figure out which package provides the actual blob needed. No Idea why, but non of the iwl* packages were installed. What I did now: # installed the package that provides the blob I copied manually ...
@NoneenoN Glad to see these firmware drivers have finally been added to the dnf package source. When I wrote my original post, this was not yet the case. The steps you provided should be the preferred way to install these drivers on Fedora (and RHEL/CentOS/Rocky) moving forward.
