Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Does anyone out there know of a lawyer/advocate/case worker I can hire to help people navigate the unemployment system? I have a couple of tenants who have been denied benefits. They don't know why and can’t resolve the issue on their own. I need to find someone who understands the system, knows what what they are entitled to, and can help them to resolve their issues to get their aid money. Any ideas? I'm willing to pay the bill, I just want to get these people some help.

Best,

-DEN

Thanks to all for the quick recommendations. For the benefit of all, the hive mind has delivered me to these folks:

https://unemploymentlawproject.org/

They charge $200 per case plus ask for a donation of a week of benefits if they are successful. Seems like exactly what we need.

Thanks again to the (literally dozens) of respondents,

-DEN
