The following is an email from   Susan Chorost, a write in candidate  for the  Village Of Old Westbury  Judge. She reached out to us today and we  are circulating this so that  voters can have an  informed  debate.  

Just to  clarify, there are 2 candidates:   Albert Khalif or  Susan Chorost.  

 

The election is  June 20^th at Village Hall from 12 pm to 9 pm.

Hi Robert, 

I am the Village Justice of Old Westbury. I was appointed to this position by Mayor Carillo in December, 2016. I found out that there was an opening and went to Village Hall with my resume. I was interviewed by the Mayor and the Trustees, along with others. I love my job, and I am good at it. It has been my honor to serve Old Westbury for the last six months. 

I understand that you are active in the community, and that you disseminate emails on various topics to the residents. I believe that you may have sent out a newsletter from my opponent recently. In the spirit on fairness, I am asking that you also send out my newsletter. I have attached a copy for you. 

Additionally, as you may already know, our little village election made the front page of the Roslyn Times yesterday! Please read the article for more understanding of this election.
