Hi Everyone,

Attached is the proposed development plan for Hastings Road subdivision located near the entrance to our community. Circled are Stone Arch Road and then the proposed entrance to the subdivision, about 150 ft after Stone Arch Rd. Although there is talk that there may be other 2 additional entrances into the subdivision.

To better understand where this is, as you turn left onto Stone Arch Rd, this subdivision will be on the right on what was previously the 16 acre Phipps estate.

If anyone has looked at the subdivision effect on the neighborhood please share what you have found. It would seem that the sub division has the potential to disrupt traffic into and out of Stone Arch Rd which is the main way in and out of Horsehose Rd and Saddle Ridge.

There have been complaints form more than a few neighbors that our area roads have been disrupted enough with the construction on gas main on Red Ground and the LIE Service Rd. Accordingly, iIt would be wise for us to ensure that our future traffic isnt impacted due to construction trucks and contractors.

If you have any comments please share with us all. Then we can send a letter to the Village so the planning board is aware of our concerns.
