WATCH FOR DATE OF AN IMPORTANT MEETING ON THE ZONING REWRITE.

Dear Neighbors,

Happy New Year!  Julie, Pat, Jenny Sue and I will be scheduling a meeting of all civics as soon as we have a date for the the Council's public hearing on the Zoning Rewrite.  We will be inviting all interested civic groups, so please send me the names and emails of groups that we should invite.

At the meeting we will review the history of the Zoning Rewrite since 2009, the current draft of the proposed new code, and other documents that have been prepared by Planning Board Staff.  Our purpose is twofold:  first, to give citizens a sense of what is coming if the new code is enacted and our properties are governed by new zoning rules and procedures.

Second, we will discuss preparations for the public hearing, and any and all other actions that we believe should be taken with respect to the Zoning Rewrite.

I will be back in touch as soon as we have the hearing date.
