Good morning fellow commissioners,

On this great Friday morning, I bring you not the greatest news.  Commissioner Michael Miller, Park Board appointee has resigned due to unforeseen matters that call for him to be at home more.  While it was a short time, we will miss Michael's contributions to the commission.

The NCEC appointment period is approaching. In the coming weeks I ask you to think about resident leaders who have expressed interest in the commission. As Michael and I discussed on several occasions, a Park Board appointee should serve on the commission as an asset both to the commission and the resident engagement efforts of the Park Board. If you know of any Minneapolis resident leaders that may be willing to join the cause, please forward their names to me and Howard.
