In the Music app , the library includes music you added or downloaded from Apple Music, music and videos you synced to iPad, TV shows and movies you added from Apple Music, and your iTunes Store purchases.

How To Download Music From Ipad To Mac

I've just bought an iPad 9th gen running iOS 15. I installed Traktor DJ 2 from the app store hoping to have a little portable set up with my S2 MK3 for small parties but I'm stumped on how to add my music to the app.

The Apple Music app on your iPad is definitely compatible. I sync music to my iPad using Music on my MacBook. I have an iPad Mini 5 and I sync music to it all the time for use with Traktor DJ 2 and my S2 Mk3. What are you using to sync from? Windows or Mac?

After a lot of messing around with preferences and Googling as to why my iPad would not show up in finder. I discover that my issue was Mojave, which was an easy fix as I just used iTunes. This is when I discovered iTunes wouldn't sync any music and it took awhile before I found a solution which was to disable iTunes Match. All is good now though.

I'm seeing the same problem, as well as an issue where the phone orientation will occasionally cause only part of the widgit to be visible. Killing the app that was playing music (or video) has no impact on this.

Hard reset seems to be the only thing that works, but then it comes back. I am to the fu**ing boiling point now with this effing bug. Please Apple, fix it. I don't want to have to restart my GD phone 5 times a day because the music widget is on the lock screen.

Update: I reset my phone and went to a meeting. When I came out, the music player was on my lock screen. No bluetooth, no media was played. It just appeared. My next step is to delete the music app and reinstall it. But I think I'll lose all my playlists. ?

I recently purchased a non-Apple MP3 Player which requires and only has USB, which my Acer Chromebook has USB ports, but I want to transfer some of my music and/or copies thereof from my iPad Air 2 onto the very compact MP3 player here in the UK, which would be a more practical option for me when travelling by overnight coach and sail from the UK to Ireland - most of my music was (not) purchased via iTunes Store, just the Music App already on my iPad - can anyone give me any advice, as I think that some of it may be in the i-cloud, as I have a monthly music subscription and I can listen to music on my iPad when offline, even with the newest iOS 12 updates

I should have been more specific. I have the music app on my iPad and my iPhone 12mini. I can play music on both devices. I can play some songs on my iPad that I want to listen to, but when I want to play the same song on my iPhone, it is not in my iPhone library. Hope that makes more sense.

Apple Music was running fine on ipadOS 17.0.3. After installing 17.1, Apple Music stopped working properly. It will freeze after playing one song, I cannot advance to the next track, the app controls will not respond. I cannot pause the playing track either, I have to kill the app for the song to stop. I noticed my playlists behaving erratically. Sometimes the playlists are empty for no reason and the songs come up after I restart the app. I will often see Loading on the Browse or Radio sections. Definitely some connection failure with the app and Apple servers. My iPad is 7th generation.

What games can you listen to music with? I have tried turning game sound off (when it's an option) - doesn't help. Seems like when iPad senses I have turned on a game, it pauses iTunes automatically. I have tried with Crystal towers and FrActal. Thanks much.

I don't know about these specific games but I have been listening to music in a bunch of games, but I can't say all the titles for sure (I desinstalled most of them after finishing them and I don't keep track of such a think) but Flight Control HD allows you to play your music.

If I have music playing in my most common apps, iPad (Music for you, I think) or Pandora, then it continues to play in just about every game I've tried them on. In most cases you wind up with music and game audio intermixed. A very few apps, Scrabble being one I found, will sometimes pause (stop) the iPad app if you take the game volume setting off the minimum value.

Where is your music playing from? It's not iTunes, unless things are desperately different in iOS5. I'd expect Music and Pandora to work the same in the new OS, but if you're using some of the streaming apps then the same might not apply to them.

Yes, it's vey easy actually. Just mute all of your games sound, then double tap the home button and slide it to the right and then use the bars on there to turn up either brightness or sound. I listen to music from Dropbox by saving them as favourites and I can listen to them offline so I know this way works if you want to listen to music while playing games. Hope this helped :)

I plug my iPad into my iMac with a USB cable. I open the Music app on the iPad, and the iPad does not appear in the pane on the left side of the Music app. (iTunes is gone now, right?) My music library in the Music app on the iMac has 440 songs. On the iPad, it's 558 songs. I want to get the songs on the iMac to match the songs on the iPad. Ultimate goal: I just got an iPad Pro and updated it to 13.2.3. In the Settings>About, it shows 312 songs. In the Music apps, a bunch of songs have a little cloud icon with an exclamation point inside When I tap, it says, "This song is not synced across your devices. To play it here, go to iTunes and turn on cloud syncing." On the new iPad, Settings>Music, Sync Library is turned on. I am an Apple Music subscriber.

Amazon music was working fine on my ipad up until yesterday when it suddenly stopped working so I deleted the app and tried to download it again. It asks me if I want to download the last compatible version I say yes. The download clock goes all the way round and then pauses for a while and says 'unable to download at this time'

You can turn off Autoplay within Apple Music by tapping on the mini-player at the bottom, tapping the 3 lines at the bottom-right, and then tapping on the infinite symbol to disable this feature. Having said that though, if you're playing a song from an album or playing a song in your huge list of songs or a playlist, those songs will still be in your "Playing Next" section.

You can potentially clear your queue to prevent the next songs from playing, but otherwise the best thing we can suggest is providing feedback as it doesn't sound like what you're looking for is currently an option: Product Feedback - Apple

For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will probably have to use third party commercial software unless you have an older model iPod. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

Macbook palready have an itunes installed on it, since its an apple. You just need to connect your iPad on your macbook using the usb cable included in the package of your iPad. Then start syncing all the files you want including music, videos, photos etc.

I tested Vibosoft iPhone/iPad/iPod to Mac transfer from my 4S iOS6 and it copied the files fine to the designated location on my Mac (Mac Pro). However, the metadata was not fine. It dropped things like track number, genre and others. It put Artist in the Album field. I recently subscribed to iTunes Match. Learn More: How to copy songs from iPad to Mac

I have the same issue. Hence, I purchased the iTunes Match as it stated that it will upload songs including those not purchased from iTunes Store. But I can't find way to upload those songs from my ipad to iCloud via iTunes Match. Does anyone know how to do that? THANKS.

Have you launched the iTunes on your Mac? The new icon is nice ,right? If you want to transfer music from iPad to new iTunes, you need to authorize your computer to connect your iPad to iTunes. Then, you can tick the iPad icon on the top side and select "Music" under the summary tab. When the screen comes on the right, you will be asked to choose "Sync" and "Apply" on the bottom of the interface so that you can transfer music from iPad to mac completely. Besides, when you tend to transfer music from iPad to Mac, you also can apply Airdrop. So you can enable airdrop from the control center with swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Select the option for yourself and choose the files/data that you'd like to transfer. Tap Share button ans select airdrop to share. It is done to transfer music from iPad to Mac.
