I acted on an email message I read about horned grebes and saw-whet owls being at George Wyth State Park. Believe it or not, I found one of the grebes and recorded many images. The saw-whet owl proved to be elusive. Before I left the park I also found a red-shouldered hawk next to the road. The bird remained perched as I shot photos. I've posted pics at the link. Scroll to the 10/28 entry.
Ladage Photograph/Kip's CommentsNote: Today's photography with horned grebes in winter plumage was a first for me. If you are interested, check them out at the East Lake before they leave.
