A Christmas Celtic Sojourn. Experience A Christmas Celtic Sojourn, a live theater event presented by WGBH that has become a New England holiday tradition, at this special, one-hour intimate Guest Street performance. Join host Brian O'Donovan and cast members for a reception and a memorable evening of songs, poetry, music, and sentiments of the season, Celtic style! IIC Solas Award. Last year, members of Boston's Irish community celebrated twenty years of the IIC and honored President Mary McAleese of Ireland with the 2009 Solas Award. This year, please join us as we present Congressman Richard Neal and Mr. Robert Glassman with this special award, named from the Gaelic word "solas," meaning "light," in recognition of their leadership. The 2010 Solas Awards Dinner will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010, at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. Full details here

Cork Boston GAA. The Cork Boston Gaelic Football club is hosting a banquet in honor of the 2010 All-Ireland Champions Cork.
