We need to continue practicing communications by participating in nets and public service events. 2014 could be as interesting as 2013 was. I was in Athens during the early 70’s and what they mention in the article is true. I still have an audio recording I made of what was going on in the March 1973 tornadoes – yes, plural. More than one came through Athens/Clarke County and Jackson County.
