Good Morning,
Another cold front will be moving across north and central Georgia tonight. This will bring another round of showers and thunderstorms to the region, a few of these could be strong to severe. Here are the details...
Overview:
As the cold front moves into the Tennessee Valley this afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead of it across Alabama and Tennessee. The showers and thunderstorms will move into northwest Georgia late this afternoon/early this evening, then spread across the rest of north and central Georgia tonight...exiting the region by daybreak Thursday morning.
WHAT:
Isolated strong to severe storms with the main threat being
WHERE and WHEN:
Greatest risk is for north and westcentral Georgia between 8 PM and Midnight tonight. Some weakening is expected after midnight as the storms spread into central Georgia, however the risk remains for an isolated strong to severe storm. (see Graphic 1)
