Data Loader is a client application for the bulk import or export of data. This is used it to insert, update, delete, or export Salesforce records.
To run SFDC Data loader, Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 11 or later, for example, Zulu OpenJDK version 11 or later for macOS. Data Loader version 45 and above now require users to install Zulu Open JDK where as prior versions required Java Runtime Environment (JRE).
I've installed Zulu Java 11 and installed data loader but it says it cannot locate java. I am running this on Windows 7. I tried updating my path and java path but I must not have something set correct. Has anyone had any luck getting this to work and if so maybe you could provide some advice.

You have to install the Zulu JDK first by launching the msi. JDK is Java Development Kit, it contains the Java runtime. Zulu is just the name/flavor of the JDK release. You also have to make sure the Java runtime from Zulu JDK is either the only Java runtime on your device or it is the runtime that you use to launch Data Loader via PATH. Try this: Make sure you're running the latest release of Data Loader. Over time, the startup scripts that ship with Data Loader have been improved. Install Zulu JDK v11 or later Open a command shell. Verify that ZULU_JAVA_HOME environment variable is set by executing this command in your shell: echo %ZULU_JAVA_HOME% If Zulu JDK is installed and the variable is set, it'll show you a valid path Run Data Loader by launching dataloader.bat. The .bat script will use ZULU_JAVA_HOME to find the Java runtime. Our paper aims at utilizing this progress made for English to transfers that knowledge into other languages, which is a non-trivial task due to the domain gap between English and the target languages. We propose a black-box non-intrusive method that utilizes techniques from Domain Adaptation to reduce the domain gap, without requiring any human expertise in the target language, by leveraging low-quality data in both a supervised and unsupervised manner. This allows us to rapidly achieve similar results for stance detection for the Zulu language, the target language in this work, as are found for English. A natively-translated dataset is used for evaluation of domain transfer.
Salesforce Data loader is a tool which will be used to insert, update, delete, export and hard delete salesforce objects data. As we know in recent times Log4j vulnerability caused a lot of issues on multiple systems.
Basically to run the data loader we must have JDK setup on your systems so a part of the this vulnerability data loader has started facing some issues. So, Salesforce has suggested to delete the existing data loader and to set up this again after downloading the latest version from salesforce setup which is not have these issues.
You saw how the files got extracted and was committed to the repo. An ADO job assigns an agent that you specify in the yml and runs the scripts/tasks on that vm environment. In this example we have used the vm image as windows. This is because command line dataloader works only on a windows environment. This job was manually run and for you to schedule it, for e.g., to run first of every month, you need to add triggers with a CRON expression. I will have this covered in the upcoming video.
