I currently have Quickbooks pro plus 2021. I will have to renew around 800 dollars around 400 for Quickbooks and 400 for enhanced payroll. My question is I saw on Amazon that Intuit is selling Quickbooks pro plus 2022 with enhanced payroll for around 600 bucks. Does anyone know if I buy a new version can I use it and cancel my current subscriptions? I've tried talking with Intuit support but I don't know if they don't understand or just don't want to answer the question but they don't know. Does anyone know?
I'm required to update my 2019 Desktop Pro version so I can continue with my payroll subscription. Both come due about the same time. Payroll renews in April and the 2019 version expires in May. Can I buy the QB Desktop Pro 2022 with Enhanced Payroll to replace both of what I have now?
You may purchase QuickBooks with a payroll subscription in two ways. You have the option of paying on a monthly or yearly basis. With this, if you choose yearly, you can get payroll included for 1yr. To verify the subscription you've bought, I recommend logging in to CAMPs account. With CAMPs, you can manage your accounts, products, contacts, billing, and user ID access. You can review charges, update your payment method, change a credit card, as well as update billing information and email addresses.
On the other hand, QuickBooks Enhanced Payroll lets you pay employees directly from QuickBooks. It simplifies payroll tax filing and payments, and lets you easily prepare, file, and send W-2s and 1099s. With Enhanced Payroll, QuickBooks Desktop automatically fills in the latest State Tax Forms. QuickBooks Desktop will guide you in processing the forms and help you stay in compliance with your State regulations.
Also, do you know if QB Desktop Pro 2022 includes employee timesheets without payroll? I use Pro 2018 and have timesheets. I'm a consultant and bill my clients for my time. I have no need for payroll, just the timesheet entry to create invoices for my clients. I've called customer support and they have no idea.
To answer your other question, yes, you can still create a timesheet entry on QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2022 even without a payroll subscription. To do so, you simply need to utilize the Enter Time option under the Employees tab. To further guide you, here's a video presentation that you can use as a reference.
This move comes as no surprise in an era where businesses are embracing digital transformation seeking more flexible and collaborative solutions. QuickBooks Online, the cloud-based counterpart to QuickBooks Desktop, has gained traction recently due to its accessibility, real-time collaboration features, and seamless integration with other cloud services.
Businesses, especially startups and small enterprises, are increasingly drawn to the flexibility and accessibility offered by cloud-based accounting solutions. QuickBooks Online provides the same core functionalities as its desktop counterpart, with the added benefits of remote access, automatic data backup, and the ability to collaborate with multiple users in real-time.
QuickBooks Pro Plus with Enhanced Payroll helps you organize your business finances and payroll so you can accomplish more, faster. Now it's easier to pay your employees right inside your QuickBooks software. Stay on top of invoices, manage expenses and run reliable reports for tax time. Pro Plus benefits include unlimited customer support, automated data backup and the latest security patches and updates.
QuickBooks Pro Plus is an upgraded subscription-based version of the QuickBooks Pro accounting software. QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus by Intuit introduces increased efficiency through its annual subscription model. It includes all the features in Desktop Pro with additional benefits, making it a comprehensive solution for businesses seeking enhanced financial management tools and ongoing support.
Both versions offer automatic syncing with your bank so you can categorize transactions. However, bank fees may apply for the Desktop variety. Add payroll to QuickBooks Online starting at $45 per month, or to Desktop starting at $50, plus $2 per employee, per month.
Commentaires :After using a PC based software which was difficult to use and didn't report the way we needed, this is a dream! We had an accountant and Point of Sale system and just needed a payroll component. This really fit the bill and so far, is working beautifully. It's so automated and yet, there are many ways to customize it (for example, vacation pay calculations for your province). I haven't found a way that it will calculate stat pay though. Remittances were a breeze with this easy app.
Each employee is sent the pay advice into their email or it can be printed for them.
As one starts the payroll run, all the information is filled out: the pay period dates, the hours if the employees are paid the same every pay period (so just change it to the hours they actually worked), their pay rate, etc.
Since it is cloud based, it can be run from anywhere around the world.
I am very pleased with this product. I actually look forward to payroll now.
You only have a 1 day window to process your payroll so it comes out on the day you want. My pay period ends on Saturdays so I only have Sunday to do it for it to be deposited on Friday-Because it's an unnecessary 5 day processing time. This also means if there is a holiday on a Friday, the employees pay ends up being 3 days late. They also charged me $60 because an employees bank account was unknowingly suspended. Paying a pricey yearly fee and with having a large number of employees, this is not something that I should be charged for. I lost all trust in PE after this charge, especially when they only let me know AFTER I had processed another payroll for this employee so I actually got charged the fee TWICE- the employees pay wasn't even this amount before they charged me again. Super disappointed.Reports are a little over complicated as well. I create a custom report for payroll monthly and its usually missing weeks and makes life hard.
Commentaires :We have been able to offer Direct Deposit payroll for all of our employees. We have also been able to integrate Payment Evolution with our existing accounting software making keeping track of payroll easy.
Commentaires :Payment Evolution was my first experience with online payroll, and it beat the pants off Quickbooks! I halfed my payroll entry time, quartered my time spent on ROEs, and getting rid of cheque payments to staff while providing them with online record keeping all was good.
Then came the price restructuring and I found myself one staff member into the higher tier, and the competition offered a 'we'll match PE and save you another 10%'. WORST thing I have ever done was leaving PE. 8 month of inflexible software, overly complex user interface, errors, painful online reporting for staff, & customer service nightmare! I am so glad Payment Evolution was willing to take me back. Completely the opposite experience: support that knows what they are doing, that proactively offers assistance in a timely manner, intuitive software that is simple enough that I can usually find the answers I need on my own. They have written code just for me. I can't say enough good things about them.My only pain (other than inconvenient for me pricing tiers) is that they haven't made their Business Payment service available to us Quickbooks offline folks yet. Yet.
I've had it with PE's program. My last straw was just pulled. I spent the last 2.5 hours entering T4A's manually thinking it was saving each one each time I hit save and it said it was saved. It didn't save any of them. This is stacked on the fact that their software had a glitch and showed bills weren't paid when the payment actually did go through the first time. This technological error resulted in a substantial double withdrawal from the bank account. I also think it is a ripoff that it costs money any time you have to make a change. With other payroll software where the Bookkeeper is in charge you can amend and delete things without it costing $30-$100 each adjustment. Overall, I think there are way better options out there, and I know because I have used them. Just having 2.5 hours of my work go down the drain when I still had another 3 to go is my final straw. I will be using other software for clients going forward. I had come to this conclusion years ago, but was forced to use it again when a client had already been signed up with PE.
