You can still create your dentures comfortably with the functions for replica dentures and partial dentures, and you can capture the important interproximal areas with the Interproximal Area Scan for Orthodontics function. This particular function works extremely well with our new Medit T710 which allows you to scan an unsectioned model and still capture the interproximal areas clearly!

In this article, we are looking at the Medit Link workflow from the clinic side. Read on to find out just how easy it is to scan and send your cases to the lab of your choice via our integrated platform.

So, let's start by first creating a case and scanning! Make sure that your i500 is connected and switched on before proceeding. Create a new case in Case Box and click on the Scan button to launch the iScan application and begin scanning.

After completing all the scan stages, iScan will prompt you to pick one of three options to fill the holes for the data results. The results will be displayed in your Case Box where you can do a final check. You can still modify, add scans or rescan for the case until you are satisfied with the scan data. You are now ready to order your dental prostheses from the lab!

Introducing the i600 scanner into the i-series range. Delivering the same brain, weight and size as the i700, with the simplicity of the i500 features.
For all your scanning needs, the i600 fulfils all basic scanning requirements at an affordable price range.

Seoul and Long Beach, CA /PRNewswire/ - Medit (www.medit.com), a leading provider of 3D intraoral scanners and digital dentistry solution, proudly announces significant updates to its Medit Link software. These enhancements mark a new era in digital dentistry, enhancing the synergy between dental clinics and laboratories.

Michael Lee, CTO at Medit, emphasized the impact of these updates, stating, "With the latest enhancements in our Medit Link and Medit Scan software, we have taken a significant leap forward in optimizing the performance of intraoral scanners. Our technology is designed to ensure that these scanners not only deliver precision and speed but also offer an intuitive user experience."

Many additional brands, like iTero, 3Shape, and Carestream, offer their own competing intraoral scanners, making it a crowded marketplace. With a wide variety of brands at a range of price points, it can be difficult to decide which scanner will be best for your practice based on performance, features, and overall value.

Every Medit scanner can be used for comprehensive orthodontic, restorative, and implant workflows. Where each model differs is its feature set. Just like with any other technology purchase, the more expensive models include more bells and whistles.

As the previous generation model, the pricing on a Medit i500 (scanner only) is at the lower tier ranging from $10,000-$12,000. As current generation models, featuring the latest hardware and software developments along with slick designs, the Medit i600 and Medit i700 are priced at the higher range. The Medit i600 (scanner only) typically costs between $12,000-$14,000. The Medit i700 (scanner only) ranges from $15,000-$17,000 for the wired option, and $18,000-$20,000 for the Medit i700 Wireless.

Early in the foundation of the company, Medit placed a lot of emphasis on the value delivered by their software, not only for improving the scanning speed but also becoming a full treatment planning resource for your practice.

Medit Link is the exclusive software to operate Medit scanners. Medit Link does not require a monthly subscription fee to use and is still highly rated in ease-of-use and dependability by doctors we speak with. To avoid charging a premium for their software, Medit developed Medit Link to have a comfortable balance of features and functions, useful for nearly any dental or specialty purpose.

One consideration that is sometimes overlooked when comparing scanner prices is the included warranty. The warranty period helps you maximize the upfront usage of your scanner. Medit warranties are comprehensive to ensure peace of mind, with coverage on hardware replacement as well as providing fast spare parts shipment.
