NEWS BALOO REQUIREMENTS CORRECTION The newsletter sent on October 10, discussing upcoming events, included an error in reference to BALOO requirements. Only one BALOO-trained leader is required for non-District/non-Council Pack campouts. (An example of a District campout is Fall Family Camping, a Council campout could be summer camp, and a Pack campout is when your group decides to camp at a state park or another venue by themselves.) However, though not required, we still recommend bringing along two BALOO-trained leaders to Pack campouts in the event that one has to leave for an emergency.
