Who should attend: a minimum of 1 registered leader from each Den/Unit (all adult registered leaders are encouraged to attend)

Event Description:
The Program Preview is the first opportunity for scouting volunteers within the Etowah District, and the Northeast Georgia Council, to receive the 12 month program planning guide and calendar for scouting within the district and the council. Attendees will receive event flyers and a brief update on the changes being made to the Scouting program (e.g. Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Crew, Explorers, …) in addition to receiving critical information to adult volunteer leaders about key dates and programs being offered within the upcoming scouting year.
Within the Program Preview, the Annual Business Meeting for the Etowah District will also occur. All registered members are welcome to attend the District Annual Business Meeting with a special invitation to voting members of the District for the upcoming scouting year. Voting members include all duly elected District Members at Large, Chartered Organization Representatives, and Institutional Heads.
Etowah District and Northeast Georgia Council committee chairs will also be on hand to distribute information about Order of the Arrow, Powder Horn, Training opportunities [Power Horn, National Youth Leadership Training (Boy Scouts), Wood Badge (adult registered leaders)], Advancement opportunities, adult volunteer opportunities, and much, much more.
