Dear All,
Attached is a simulink model of a PID
controller.Using this vary the value
of kp,ki and kd. Plot the
different variables in workspace. Attached are
few examples for
clarity of what is expected form you.Discuss the effect
of different
conrollers and their gains on the output of the system.
Also
change the transfer function, add zeroes and observe effect on
overshoot.Only use second order transfer functions.Attach these figures
in
your workbook in experiment 3.
Write the derivations
of P and I controller and their effect on an A4
sized paper.Attach
this with Experiment1.This has already been covered in
labs so wont
be of much trouble to you.
All you need to do is write the
derivation down,make changes in above
simulink model and take
printouts.
Submit workbook in lab by Thursday 3rd Nov
2011.
All the best,
Ayesha.
