Hi everyone,

I'm planning to attend this coming WW. I filled out the Google form earlier and assume I'll be getting the address soon.

- Does anyone know what is left to be done? I want to make sure I'm bringing the right tools.

- Also, is camping acceptable on Friday as well or just Saturday night?

Looking forward to working and or burning with you all!

I will leave it to others to fill in, but my per Mal observation was that paths looked overgrown. Gloves/weedwhacher/ pricker clippers.

I will leave it to others to fill in, but my personal observation was that paths looked overgrown. Gloves/weedwhacher/ pricker clippers.

Folks who are setting up on the Esplanade (the field), please only mark off the length of your camp on the trees surrounding the field. NOT THE DEPTH OF YOUR SPACE.
When you bump out into the field to mark off your space your markers limit vehicle access and maintenance, which is really important to us CORE leads prior to the event.
You really don't need to do this, no one is going to take the space 10-20 feet out from the trees away from you. We need to drive on it during the work weekends.
We were chatting with Scott, and he may or may not mow the field again. There are too many markers out there preventing further mowing.

Thanks!

Amy- DPW was present for the staking of the field last weekend, if you have issues please discuss things offline with your other core leads before issuing unfounded edicts to the entire community.

This was discussed and agreed upon with Matt Splain, who is DPW, last work weekend. He agreed that we should continue to follow our original practices.
He said that I could send out a notice, which I did. If there are other plans, then I agree with you, the entire CORE needs to know, including me.

apologies for any misunderstanding on my part - I'm the one who marked the es14-es19 space with wet paint flagging tape in the field proper - I wanted to mark a space for our theme camp, but didn't want to cross over the driving path to the far end of the field.  I spoke with folks on DPW and they said what I did was OK, but in the future I'll just mark trees by the edge (sorry, my first WW and first time running a theme camp, third time going to Nectr).

Amelia-

We did discuss this. Nothing to apologize for.

Obviously this is a communication issue between core leads.

I marked my space out wide for my artwork, so you’re not alone. We will discuss further this weekend in person.
