GREETINGS FELLOW GAMERS!
The staff of Necronomicon 2018 is now gearing up for this years’ con. Necronomicon 2018 will be held on October 19-21 at the Holiday Inn – Tampa Westshore. Our Guests of Honor are Authors Tonia Brown and Rick Wilber. As always, we will have tons of fun stuff to do, but to make our Gaming Department a continued success, WE NEED YOU!
WEBSITE OPEN
Our gaming sign-up page is now open. Just go to Necrogaming.org and follow the links to our registration page. If you had an account last year, it’s still there and you can sign-up immediately. If not, you’ll need to register an account with us and, once we approve it, you can sign-up to run games or volunteer for the gaming table.
GET YOUR MONEY BACK
Anyone who signs up to work 10 hours at Necro (either running games or volunteering in one of our departments) you will pay the pre-reg rate of $40 to get in and that money will be refunded once you work your hours. Just remember that any games you run must be on the schedule by the Sept. 20 GM registration deadline to count toward your 10 hours.
HOTEL
If you would like to join us at our host hotel, you can reserve a room for $134/night. Our room block will only be available at that price until Sept. 27. Also, the reservation site is a bit confusing. For instructions on how to deal with it and go to Stonehill.org/necro.htm and click on “HOTEL”. You’ll find detailed instruction on how to navigate getting a hotel room for Necro.

NOT JUST GAMING
Although Gaming is the largest department at Necro, there is LOTS of other fun stuff happening at the con. Art show, Dealers’ room, Authors’ Alley, Con suite, Panel discussions on more fan topics than I could name here, Trivia, Costume Contests, a short Film festival, Dances, Parties, and much more.
