GREETINGS FELLOW GAMERS!
Preparations for Gaming at Necronomicon 2018 are proceeding well. We currently have 67 tabletop events on our schedule. Support has started to arrive, and we are looking forward to another great con!
DEADLINE
Our deadline to register your games is Sat. Sept. 29 at midnight. After that our gaming program goes to press and we start our voluminous pre-con paperwork, so you won’t be able to get your game on the official schedule or have your game count toward your 10 hours for refunded admission. If you miss the deadline and still want to run a game at Necro, you can still sign up onsite at the con to run a pick-up game. To get your game on the schedule before the deadline, just go to www.necrogaming.org and click the “register now” button on the bottom of the home page.
HOTEL
Our host hotel is filling up fast. If you haven’t gotten a reservation yet, you should do so soon. Unfortunately, a glitch in the hotel’s reservation system has made getting our convention rate at the hotel a bit complicated. For detailed instructions, go to www.stonehill.org/necro.htm and click on the “HOTEL” button on the upper left side of the page. You’ll find all the hotel info and instructions on how to make your reservation to get the con rate. If you still have trouble, please email our hotel liaison, Debbie Hicks D...@stonehill.org and she will be able to help you out.
VOLUNTEERS
We still need volunteers in a variety of departments. Remember, if you sign up to work 10 hours at Necro, you will get in for the pre-reg rate and you can get that fee refunded after you work your 10 hours. Also, for every 2 hours you work you will get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a $100 cash prize at the end of the con. To help out in the gaming department, you can sign-up on the same site that you register games. For the other department (con suite, security, art, etc) go to www.stonehill.org/necro.htm and click on “contact us” on the left side and email the department head of the department where you wish to volunteer.
MEMBERSHIPS
Remember you can pre-register for Necro until Oct. 12 for $40. Go to www.stonehill.org/necro.htm and click on “join us”. You will find our Pay-pal link there. Our onsite rates are $55 for a 3-day badge, $50 for a 2-day badge, $25 for Friday, $30 for Saturday, and $20 for Sunday.
UNBOXING
We will be producing “unboxing videos” very soon so you can all see the support we’ve gotten from our various sponsors and the kind of cool stuff you can win by coming to Necro.
