As “an important milestone in MIT’s engagement with China”,
MIT-China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (MIT-CHIEF) aims to promote intellectual exchanges and collaborations between Greater China and the US in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. The First MIT-CHIEF Annual Conference in November 2011 was a huge success that attracted over 40 high-profile speakers and 600 attendees from all over the world, and now we are recruiting organizing committee for MIT-CHIEF 2012!
With 5 keynotes, 6 panels and a business plan contest, MIT-CHIEF 2011 was the first-ever of its kind and the largest China-focused event on MIT campus. It attracted comprehensive media coverage and sponsorship from MIT and top companies in thriving industries such as
IBM, Microsoft, GSR Ventures, IDG Capital, Zhen Fund, and Suzhou Nano Tech. Our distinguished speakers include
Prof. Charles Cooney, Prof. Yasheng Huang (黄亚生), Thomas Li (李实恭), Shi Wang (王石), Sonny Wu (伍伸俊), Xiaoping Xu (徐小平), Ya-Qin Zhang (张亚勤), and many others. Furthermore, the first MIT-CHIEF Business Plan Contest received more than 100 projects from all over the US and China.
