A few late season topics....
To all,
1) Most of the randonneuring season has been a bust due to the virus but a few of us did the KC 200 & 300 K yesterday. We are going to run a couple of the Columbia rides as RUSA events on November 7th & 8th (see the website for details:
https://www.audaxkc.com/). For most riders, these will be new routes. I will help increasing the routes for this award:

2) Photos: If anyone has a cycling photo that they would like being on the 2021 Schedule Card, please send it my way. Brevet photos are always preferred, but that may be tough in a pandemic year.
3) RUSA Election for Board Members starts on November 1st.
Of note, Dan Diehn from Wisconsin is running. He is a friend of mine and has ridden a number of KC and Nebraska events. He is a very experienced rider who is level headed. Of note, he is a district attorney by day, which can benefit the board as there are a fair amount of legal issues that come up every year.
Ride lots,
Spencer

"It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle." - Ernest Hemingway
