That's right everyone! August 5^th will be here before we know it so mark your calendars for the upcoming epilepsy walk at Midtown Crossing Turner Park!

In honor of the 10^th Anniversary of the Nebraska Walk for Epilepsy, we are changing things up by switching the walk to the evening, lowering the registration price, having extra games and prizes, and so much more!

The registration site for the walk this year is ready and you can locate information on the walk at www.NebraskaEpilepsyWalk.com.

Last year we had around 350 people in attendance which means we will need volunteers to work a booth for an hour, to help set up and tear down, and to get out there and fundraise for your local epilepsy non-profit, Lifestyle Innovations For Epilepsy aka LIFE.

If you are interested in volunteering, as an individual or as a family, please contact Stacey Doty, walk coordinator, at 402-850-7680 sd...@epilepsylife.org.

Each year the walk grows substantially with fun activities, vendor tables, clowns, balloons, face painting, ect… volunteering 30 minutes or one hour to help make this event as successful as it can be, that is something that can really help.

Just drop me your name and how many people in your family/group would be willing to volunteer and I will add you to my list and contact you as the event gets closer.

If you have already let me know that you plan on volunteering, please plan to arrive by 3pm that Saturday. You will be assigned your volunteer station at that time and provided a walk t-shirt as well. The walk will be done by 9pm and then we will need help with clean up as well.

With everyone’s help, we can make this 10^th anniversary of the annual walk the most successful year for the Nebraska Walk for Epilepsy!
