Please read below for information on an upcoming talk of interest.
Dr. Alice Cepeda, Assistant Professor of Sociology and Associate
Director of the Center for Drug and Social Policy Research at the
University of Houston will be visiting UNL on May 4 through 6. She
will present a colloquium, titled “Emerging Drug Use Patterns, New
Settlement Destinations & Career Trajectories: Social and Health Risks
among Latino Populations”, on Wednesday, May 5th at 12:30 in the City
Campus Union. This colloquium is co-sponsored by the Department of
Sociology and the Behavioral Health Program of Excellence.
