Well, the Cornhuskers are seeded number 10 and kick things off
tomorrow against Campbell. That should be a sweep, and the next
night they will face the winner of Florida State:Kansas State.

Seems that should be a win too, anyone disagree?

Okay, the Huskers took care of business and are headed to Austin
where they will face the Illin--for the third time this season.
Although Nebraska swept U of Illinois in each of their two
previous encounters this season, I expect they will have a harder
time of it this go round--the Illini are playing much better than
earlier. Of course, so are the Huskers!

I picked up tickets for the regional final with fingers crossed.
Worst case, my wife and I will be there rooting for Illinois!

Tonight's the decider, the regional semi. Too bad it's so late
(9:30 EST start), but I'll be watching. Go Big Red!

Well, it was an utterly *awesome* experience in Austin, the Husker
women played their hearts out!

They did the same in the national semi, taking out 3 seed Pitt,
and also played well in the final--falling just short to those
Badgers. After 8 losses to them in a row, it will be nice to see
their 27th year seniors finaly moving on!
