Well, in a long anticipated move (since she put her name into the
transfer portal), Kaitlyn Hord (three time all american middle
blocker at Penn State), has announced she will transfer to the
University of Nebraska, Lincoln. The move presents a really good
fit for both parties.

UNL's outstanding middle blocker Lauren Stivrins has used up all
of her eligibility and will not be returning for the 2022 season,
experienced Junior Callie Schwarzenbach is transferring to Long
Beach State, and the other starter from last year Kayla Caffey is
waiting to see if the NCAA will give her a medica waiver for an
additional season of playing time.
For Hord, the school has a very good program in her area of
interest (criminal justice) and she will almost certainly get a
lot of playing time. The excellent Husker backrow play enables
the offense to more often go to the middles for offense, so Hord
can expect to have plenty of opportunities to score.
