If Nebraska and VT win out, it will be a close fight for #2.

Nebraska will should gain 1 point in the poll pts after the FSU-FL game,
will gain SOME points in the SOS and SOME points in the computer rankings.
Whether those "SOME" points will add up to 1.41 is hard to say, but it will
be VERY close. Time to really cheer for Nebraska's opponents (and their
opponents) and boo VT's opponents (and their opponents).

Except for the ones they still have to play, Temple and Boston College.

I'm most worried about the scenario where Florida beats FSU, but just
barely. It makes Florida look better and FSU not look bad enough to drop
very far. That makes it less likely that FSU would drop enough in either
polls or computer rankings for NU to pass them up in the BCS standings.

But there really isn't any sense in worrying about these things now. This
really is one game at a time. All of this is for naught if Nebraska fails
to play well enough to win the day after Thanksgiving. And we all know
now, if NU does win, Texas will have those 4 in row T-shirts selling like
hotcakes. Of course, after the Big XII Championship game they will be
marked down a bundle.
