Charter for the nebr regional news hierarchy

The nebr regional news hierarchy was created in 1997 and currently
consists of the following news groups:

nebr.biz Nebraska Business
nebr.edu Nebraska Education
nebr.flame Flaming regarding Nebraska people and issues
nebr.gov Nebraska Government
nebr.humor Good Life Humor
nebr.jobs Discussions and postings concerning jobs in Nebraska
nebr.misc Discussions and postings about anything in Nebraska
nebr.news.announce Nebraska Hierarchy News Announcements (Moderated)
nebr.news.general General discussions about the nebr news hierarchy
nebr.news.test For testing news software and distribution in nebr
nebr.rec Recreation in Nebraska
nebr.sports Sports in Nebraska
nebr.sports.unl UNL Husker sports, an echo for the Husker mailing list

The nebr hierarchy is administered by a steering committee of administrators
of news sites and Internet providers in Nebraska which appoints the
moderator of nebr.news.announce, who also serves as the originator of
control messages for the hierarchy and as the main contact for information
regarding the hierarchy.

nebr.sports.unl is not currently a moderated newsgroup but posts to it are
expected to conform to the guidelines of the Husker List, which are posted
monthly. Posts to nebr.sports.unl may be reflected back to the Husker List.
