The position could be located in Pearl River, Manhattan or one of
the other NY area offices of HDR. The Northeast Transportation
Director will establish a business plan and provide leadership to
expand our NE Transportation practice, build internal and
external teams to win key project wins, help make key hires and
identify potential acquisitions, and expand our client base to
include other public jurisdictions / agencies as well as
diversify our service lines in the northeast. Broad duties
include working with transportation business class managers and
project managers to identify market opportunities in
transportation, assist with project pursuits including capture
planning, interview assistance, proposals, strategies and
teaming. Position will involve management and project reviews in
addition to quality oversight.

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field of study
or Master's degree in civil engineering, business, or related
field of study.<br><br>Minimum of 20 years applicable
transportation industry project management and marketing
experience.<br><br>Proven relationships with major transportation
organizations in the Northeast.<br><br>Experience in a regional
or national transportation leadership role is preferred.
<br><br>Applicable registrations and association activities are
required.<br>
