Tuesday Night Women's Ride

It looks like a beautiful albeit warm night for a ride. ( I will not be there but Eileen Flaherty will be there with waivers.)  We should have 2 and maybe 3 speed groups.  

Ride departs at 6 pm sharp from the Lexington Green. The faster group rides 26 miles; the slower group does a shorter loop (21).  Slower group is a non drop ride. Faster group is a drop group although they typically regroup at the top of Strawberry and Page hills. 

We are losing daylight so lights are recommended!

Weather is looking good for tomorrow. Hopefully we can get a good turnout.  Lights are recommended as days are getting shorter.

Weather looks iffy for this evening. I will not be there as I returned early this morning from Utah so I will let people make their own decision.

We had a nice turnout and great ride on Tuesday. Because a bunch of people are not around next Tuesday, I have decided to extend the season so that the last official ride with the annual ice cream stop at Bedford Farms will be on Tuesday September 3.  Next Tuesday (august 27), we will do our usual ride.  The days are getting shorter so maybe certain to have some lights especially when we ride back from Bedford Farms on the bike path!

It looks like a nice evening for a ride. We will roll out promptly at 6 pm from the green in Lexington Center.  We are fighting the light so please come early as we need to roll out on time and bring some lights just in case. Next Tuesday (September 3) will be our last ride of the season and our annual stop at Bedford Farms for ice cream.
