This came in my mail today -- thought others might be interested....

Note: our next meeting is March 4 with the topic "Pinterest for your Business" --  see neaug.org for details.

“Taking Social Media to the Next Level” will be held here at Marlboro College Graduate School in Brattleboro on Tuesday, February 25th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

The workshop is free, but please register.

Take your social media to the next level by developing an effective "social media calendar" strategy that is optimized for your company and market. It doesn’t matter if you have a Facebook Business Page, Twitter, or LinkedIn or if your business is on just one of the social sites. You’ll learn about the elements of a focused and affordable marketing plan. You will see how to leverage the latest in social media to have conversations with your customers and people who influence your potential customers. You will learn how to develop a channel strategy to sell your products and services that will give you the widest market coverage at the lowest possible cost.

  • Develop a marketing plan for your venture.
  • Find new strategies for getting the most out of your marketing dollar.
  • Enhance your business’s presence through social media profiles.
  • Discover new content management tools.

This is a “hands-on” event, so bring your own laptop and your enthusiasm because this workshop emphasizes a practical, hands-on approach to learning about technology.

Leading the workshop will be Emily Susan.  Emily develops a comprehensive online presence and social media strategy for businesses who want to reach and engage their customers. She tends to work with local independent businesses and offers small group coaching, simplifying their social media with an action plan.  Emily also provides “Done-for-You” where she creates the social posts and posts them on the business’s behalf.  To learn more about Emily, visit her at her at EmilySusan007.com.
