Any success on Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) ?

I had Neatx working well with 11.04 (32-bit) but recently moved over
to 11.10 (64 bit).

Now when I connect to a new session I find my desktop but no Window
Manager or panel and menus running.

Gnome is not included in 11.10 with Unity being the default window
manager. I had to installed the Gnome fallback package.

I'm using version 0.3.1+svn59-0~ppa1~lucid1

try restarting metacity - maybe this will help, plz let me know.

Thanks, working a bit better now but the metacity restart made no
difference.
I'm finding general issues with Gnome/unity in 11.10 before I even get
to Neatx.
I've tried to like Unity but not impressed.
My desktop menus have to be started manually. either gnome-panel or
unity-2d-panel and unity-2d-launcher
Regularly this release hangs on boot and I have to go into restore.
Like the look of X2go but that wouldn't work either.
