UMGC's online library is available 24/7 to students around the globe. Most printed materials can be mailed at no cost to students in the continental United States, or you can request electronic delivery for journal articles and book chapters. Fagan-Fry: They've sort of become synonymous with each other but there is an actual distinction between the two and I think it's a really important distinction to make. The Central Library is the library for all of NOAA. We are here to serve NOAA and the library serves a number of functions: We provide electronic access to journals and ebooks, and offer research, reference, and bibliometrics services. Then we have our traditional library catalog, which is where you're going to find all of the collections across all of NOAA's libraries. So there's a network of libraries across all of NOAA, and all of their collections can be found within the NOAA catalog.
The Japan Coast Guard Academy (海上保安大学校, Kaijō Ho'an Daigakkō) (JCGA) is a university-level service academy established within the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for the purpose of training students to become Coast guard officers. It is located in Kure, Hiroshima prefecture.
The JCGA participates in exchanges with foreign coast guard organizations such as the United States Coast Guard Academy, Canadian Coast Guard College, Korea Maritime and Ocean University, and the Philippines, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and other counterparts.[1]
