Roger WA1NVC Would like as many 900 users and P25 fans to join the virtual MMRA business meeting tonight at 7:30pm as possible. He’d like to propose a plan to upgrade the MMRA Boston 900MHz repeater and make it mixed mode possibly Marlboro as well.

I have put Boston 900 on the agenda for the MMRA business meeting this Wednesday.

I have suggested we buy a complete Quantar for Boston if I can get the same deal the RI guys got. This will be more reliable that the cobbled together Quantar I made from old rusty, salt corroded, mouse poop covered pieces.  This is the one I have been using at NEARfest, etc.

If you want Marlboro to do P25 also, you will need to bring that up as well.  The current MMRA 900 Quantar in Marlboro is too old to do mixed mode and P25 without major upgrades.  If we get a new Quantar for Boston, the one I put together from pieces could be used at Marlboro where it is more accessible if needed.

Here is a list of MMRA members that might be in favor of P25.  Feel free to add or delete as needed.

I'd like someone to reach out to all  MMRA and non-MMRA members who might want P25 on the MMRA 900 repeaters.  Here is the meeting info:
