Tom :

Gee - we were just talking about Gallaudet , so here is yet another unknown ( to me) speaker  with a quick one-two punch from the front office . First an uninformed screed about the Wrights and Curtiss , and now a speaker from left field .  I'm SURE he spent lots of time in our Gallaudet files . when preparing his talk, huh ?

I will plan to be there at 10:00 Tuesday morning . .......somehow.....Weather permitting , of course.

Carl - Brian did Gallaudet research with us several years ago.  If I recall, at the time our Gallaudet archive was in major chaos.  It had never been reviewed or inventoried, and existed in piles lying in boxes or not in boxes, in various corners upstairs and in the flat file room as well as at Signature, so we didn't let him pull anything out.  He just used our Reference files and what books we could find..  He's also done the same with the RI Historical Society.  I don't know how he'll use that research in his video presentation on Tuesday.  He was plenty disgusted at how we were "preserving" the Gallaudet materials
