Hello everyone,
A brief introduction: My name is Dorothy Allard; I'm a consulting
botanist/ecologist. I've been working with the Pringle Herbarium since last
October on developing a strategy and method for databasing our specimens. I was
unable to attend your meeting last week due to a conflict. Sorry I missed it!
Julie Dragon did a good job of filling me in on what you covered, and Karen
Searcy and others have helped to get me on the email mailing list.
I think that the mission statement and goals look very good--simple,
clearly worded, and concise.
As to the name, "Consortium of Eastern Herbaria" is quite a mouthful but
"CNH" rolls off the tongue pretty easily, so it sounds good to me.
cheers, Dorothy
