Regarding design, the entire design of the site could flow from a logo
or banner. Kathie and I are currently chatting about how to proceed
with this.
The problem with logos is that they can take a long time to develop
and need certain amount of input from members; however, at the Peabody
I have access to graphic artists that could assist in this.
A banner could be a graphic that includes elements that reflect the
interests of the group (e.g., a plant herbarium specimen, fungus,
computer, distribution map, map of northeast, herbarium cabinet, etc.).
