I think Dorthy has made a comprehensive list. I would suggest that we
start off with only one working group to focus on these as we don't
have enough people and expertise to tackle each separately. We can
benefit from the TDWG (Biodiversity Information Standards) website
(
www.tdwg.org), which has these teased out and provides a lot of
useful information and discussion. I would suggest that we call this
working group just 'Informatics' as bioinformatics has a somewhat
direct association with genetics/genomics. I am happy to answer
questions and give feedback on any of the topics on the list
