I tried installing ArcGIS Server 9.3 Beta with Visual Web Developer
installed. Even though the help documentation states that Visual Web
Developer is a supported platform, the AGS SDK installation did not
integrate with it.

I'm now going to try installing AGS 9.3 with Visual Studio 2008
intalled to see if it integrates.

The ArcGIS Server SDK does integrate with Visual Studio 2008 but you
only get the ASP.NET controls. Has anyone been able to use the new
ArcGIS Dojo tools with .NET? Do I have to install the Java SDK to get
those?

Hi Ryan,

I'm pretty sure the tools that sit on top of Dojo are purely
Javascript so you'll just need to get started with the ArcGIS Server
JavaScript API to work with these. You can hit some doc and code
samples here, and you'll have to for now use your Beta login to access
it:

Let me know how it goes,

does this quote from the page Sam sent us to mean that the js api is
running from esri online and is not something that is installed on our
servers?
"The JavaScript API is hosted by ESRI on ArcGIS Online and is
available for free use."

Yes. Like the Google and VE APIs, ESRI hosts the JavaScript libraries.
This is good in the sense that they'll be able to upgrade and fix bugs
easily.
