Geometry Service

I installed ArcGIS Server 9.3 Beta Workstation and cannot find the
Geometry Service. The Catalog service does not show it, and the Server
Manager application does not seem to have an option to turn it on. Has
anyone been able to turn on the Geometry SOAP Service?

I'm going to install the Enterprise version to see if it was just
missing from the Workstation version.

We only have a license for Basic Enterise. I can't even create a map
service. Regardless, the Catalog SOAP service does not list a Geometry
service on Enterprise.

Something like: http://host/ArcGIS/services/service/GeometryService?wsdl
returns the same WSDL as the Catalog service.

Ryan,
Try adding the Geometry Service using ArcCatalog. The SOAP endpoing
would then be something like:
http://localhost/arcgis/services/Geometry/GeometryServer?wsdl

...although this service is going to be most appropriate for use with
a REST call via Javascript
http://localhost/ArcGIS/rest/services/Geometry/GeometryServer
