[FELLOWSHIP] [OCEAN SCIENCES] [WHOI] [C-CoMP] 2024 C-CoMP Bridge-to-PhD Fellowships Available

The NSF Science and Technology Center for Chemical Currencies of a Microbial Planet (C-CoMP) invites applications for 2-year Bridge-to-PhD fellowships that will significantly advance the Center’s goals of broadening participation in the Ocean Science workforce and promoting an understanding of the chemical and microbial processes that underlie the surface ocean carbon cycle.

 

Up to five Bridge-to-PhD fellowships will be awarded in 2024. The fellowship has includes a stipend of $41,000, a health and wellness allowance of $6,000, and a research allowance of $3,000 ($50,000 in total). Applicants must be a US citizen or permanent resident at the time of application, have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, and demonstrate an interest in Ocean Science research. Fellows will be hosted at C-CoMP labs and will start their fellowships September 1, 2024.

Applications will be accepted until April 24, 2024.

Fellows will be notified of their appointments in May 2024.
