The Coastal Systems Program at the School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST), University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, is seeking a full-time Lab Manager (Technical Associate or Research Associate) to support estuarine and coastal research programs. The Lab Manager will coordinate day-to-day laboratory operations; oversee sample processing, nutrient analyses, QA/QC, and data management; assist with deployment and maintenance of field and autonomous instrumentation; supervise interns and laboratory staff; and support field sampling programs, technical reporting, and proposal development. Experience with nutrient analysis, coastal fieldwork, environmental instrumentation, and project coordination is strongly preferred.

 

This is a full-time, benefited position with a salary range of $55,000–$70,000, commensurate with experience.
