Everyone played their part well and honorably. We appear
to have the decision we want, but vigilance is in order.
If someone could schedule a polite ping to the PSE
project manager and Rob Jammerman (on the city staff)
every 3-4 months, that should give us an indication of
any crack in the recommendation.
Thanks to everyone. Now, let's celebrate at this
weekend's North Rose Hill Picnic, noon-4 on Saturday. I
get to be a pie contest judge, so bring many, many
entries!
All the best,
- Dave Asher

Subject: decision from PSE meeting 7-18-12
Results from the meeting: After public input and much
discussion of the critera the Advisory Committee selected
to recommend to PSE Route Three, (Willows Road) to about
1/2 mile from N.E. 124th., then up the side hill to the
top of the hill then North to RR Tracks, then down tracks
to N.E. 116th. then back along I-405 (in front of Fred
Meyer) to N.E. 124th., then West about 1/2 Mile and
connect with the lines coming from the Juanita
Substation. This is a combination of Route #1 on the West
side of I-405, and Route #3 on the East side of I-405.
From here it goes to PSE for some final studies and
permitting, and then back to two public meetings (date to
be set). This may take about one year but they will
update us on its progress. This meeting lasted three
hours and I talked to several citizens inside and outside
who were happy with the outcome .....
