Kirkland City Council meeting report

Thank you, everyone, for being there at the meeting!

Below is my personal account of the meeting (some details may not be very accurate):

Jeff presented on behalf of our group.  Gints made the Powerpoint slides.  Shelli, Ann, and Wes helped with the review.  We informed the City Council that the residents do not support high-voltage transmission lines in the residential areas and requested that they provide an action report by their next meeting on July 17th.

Another resident group from the north also presented.  They echoed our concerns.

At the end of the meeting, the City Council agreed to our request; they'll look into how they can get involved and what influence they can have and give us a report by July 17.

From what I know so far, City Council members Dave Asher and Toby Nixon have replied to residents' emails addressing our concerns. Thank you!
