Hello Interested Community Member,

Thank you for your interest in Puget Sound Energy’s Sammamish-Juanita 115 kV Transmission Line Project. After 10 months of discussion and review of community input, the stakeholder advisory group made its preferred route recommendation on July 18, 2012.

This represents a big step in the siting process, and we would like to thank everyone for their involvement. PSE looks forward to sharing the recommended route with the community.

Community Open Houses on the Stakeholder Advisory Group’s Recommended Preferred Route

Join us for a community open house to discuss the stakeholder advisory group’s preferred route and provide your input! Both open houses will cover the same information, so please choose the date that is most convenient for you.

                Tuesday, August 21, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Lake Washington Institute of Technology, West Building, Room 401
                11605 132nd Ave NE, Kirkland

                Wednesday, August 22, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, Auditorium
                16600 NE 80th Street, Redmond

During the open house you can learn about the challenges facing the local electric system, discuss the recommended route with PSE staff, learn about the siting and public involvement process, ask questions and provide comments. Refreshments will be provided.

We want your feedback on the advisory group’s recommended preferred route to help us understand additional community concerns or information that should be considered as we develop the final route. We anticipate making our final route decision in late summer.
